Vehicle Fitness FAQs
Is fitness certificate mandatory for all commercial vehicles?
Yes. As per Section 56 of the Motor Vehicles Act, every transport vehicle must have a valid fitness certificate to ply on Indian roads. Driving without one can attract heavy penalties and vehicle seizure.
Can I get fitness for a vehicle registered in another state?
Yes. We assist with fitness certification for vehicles registered anywhere in India. In some cases, an NOC or transfer of registration may be needed — our team guides you through the exact process.
How long does the fitness process take?
For vehicles with valid documents, the process typically takes 24–48 hours. If inspection or re-inspection is required, it may take 3–5 working days depending on RTO availability.
What happens if my vehicle fails the fitness inspection?
If the vehicle fails inspection, you'll receive a list of defects. We help you get them repaired and re-schedule the inspection. Most vehicles clear on the second attempt after minor fixes.
Do you provide fitness renewal reminders?
Yes. We maintain a record of your vehicle's fitness expiry and send you timely reminders via SMS, WhatsApp, and email so you never miss a renewal date.
